CFC ABC Gives Back

At PBC, making a positive difference while helping to improve and enhance the community in which we live and work is a commitment. PBC recently had the privilege of renovating the administrative offices of New Hope for Kids in Maitland, FL. This was Phase II of renovations to their new facility. The facility, ideal in size to serve the growing number of families in need in the Central Florida community, was in dire need of restoration. PBC was honored for the opportunity to make their new place feel more like home. Since 1996, New Hope for Kids has been helping Central Florida children in need. Their purpose is to bring hope, healing and happiness to children and families suffering from grief, loss, or life-threatening illnesses. Their mission is to support children and families grieving the death of a loved one and to grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses, ages 3-19, in Central Florida. They achieve this through two programs – The Center for Grieving Children and Wishes for Kids which provide assistance to children and their families during some of life’s most difficult challenges. New Hope for Kids also provides support services such as family events, resource information, and referral to other agencies for assistance when necessary.
